Wedding Gone Wrong

She walked down the aisle

But she didn’t see him

She only saw the groomsman

Standing next to Jim

Her eyes tried to focus

She flashed a quick smile

The preacher looked her up and down

And waited for a while

The congregation started shifting

While the short sermon began

Molly shifted too

Edging from ‘her man’

But the bridesmaids hedged her in

And the other groomsmen stood real tall

Jim held on real tight

Poor Molly only saw…

Thirty years gone by real slow

Five kids gone too fast

Jim and her left alone

In silence built to last

You see Molly never had a chance

To decide what she would do

If someone hadn’t held a gun

And lectured her in that pew

Now she’s stuck in another man’s life

Not even sure she’s there

The FedEx truck doesn’t come round here

And other wives don’t seem to care

So when love’s run out

And the song’s long gone

Where will you be

When the wedding’s gone wrong.

I like it,but i'm a little confused about the whole gun part...and FedEx? Is that because all the drivers are good looking men?....

Watch 'runaway bride' with julia roberts, that will explain it all... and as for the gun, it's just symbolic for saying that someone forced her into the church for the wedding.
